What you’ll do:
- Animate icons and illustrations: Develop playful and brand-aligned animations for in-app icons, mascots, and spot illustrations, elevating the visual experience.
- Design micro-interactions: Create smooth, meaningful UI transitions (e.g., page transitions, button feedback, loading indicators) that guide user flow and improve usability.
- Advocate for user-centered motion: Use animation strategically to reduce cognitive load, communicate state changes, and create moments of delight without distracting from core tasks.
- Prototype and iterate: Rapidly prototype motion concepts using tools such as After Effects, Figma, and Lottie
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with UX/UI designers, engineers, and product managers to implement motion that is performant, accessible, and aligned with technical constraints.
- Maintain consistency: Help define and document animation guidelines and best practices to ensure a cohesive motion language across the app ecosystem.
