System Administrator

 

A system administrator will protect our critical information, access rights, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. ensures all systems have secure connections and perform smoothly to serve the needs of its employees. These technical experts perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs, including software and computer installations and upgrades, routine automation, security maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and technical support for all users and projects of the organization.

Objectives of this Role

 

  • Perform workflow administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research access rights warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide.
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing which users should have access to particular modules or screens with grouping users together.
  • Regular review of the user accounts, permissions, access rights to accurate access to the internal system.
  • Install and config computer hardware operating systems (Windows/Mac) and applications (iOS/Android)
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Be a mentor on access rights policies, software usage for employees.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
  • Support office activities, event organization, employees’ events

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT-related fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in large enterprise
  • Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems
  • Familiarity with Mac is a must
  • Experience with authorization (access controls, roles, permission) models
  • Proficiency in Google G-Suites and Microsoft Office
  • Dedicated, flexible, and have a demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
