Junior 2026 - Data Platform Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Support the development and improvement of LMWN’s data platform components
• Assist in building tools, services, or automation that improve platform reliability and developer experience
• Help monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data platform systems
• Learn and support basic tasks related to data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and platform operational workflows
• Work with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, product managers, and software engineers to understand requirements and support team initiatives

What You’ll Need: 

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields
• Basic programming experience (Python and/or Java preferred)
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts such as Data Structure and Algorithm and System Design
• Interest in backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering
• Eagerness to learn about cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Good problem-solving skills and a strong growth mindset
• Able to communicate in Thai and basic English (technical reading, simple updates)

It'd Be Great If You Have:

• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of streaming or distributed systems (Kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.)
• Experience from coursework or personal projects related to backend, DevOps, or data engineering
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Knowledge of Git or version control workflows
