What you’ll Do:
- Vendor Management:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the comprehensive vendor management strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors aligning with the company's requirements.
- Proactively identify and assess potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with major vendors.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with vendors.
- Contract Management:
- Guide the entire contract lifecycle management process, including negotiation, approval, execution, and renewal.
- Ensure vendor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as contracted.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Performance and Evaluation:
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and adherence to SLAs or KPIs, contract guidelines, regulations, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols.
- Support Business Owners by coordinating issue resolution.
- Provide detailed reports on vendor performance, including non-compliance, and recommend performance improvement strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis, determine corrective actions, and enforce financial penalties when necessary.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and quarterly progress updates.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with various departments, including procurement, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure effective vendor management.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors to address issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth operations.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Maintain a centralized repository for vendor contracts and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to vendor relationships.
What you’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
- At least 5 years progressively responsible experience in either vendor management, contracts management and purchasing with 3 years experience in the Tech industry.
- Strong understanding of vendor relationship dynamics, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
