The Vendor Management Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the vendor management process within the organization. This role requires understanding and developing of vendor relationships, contract management, vendor optimization, Supplier performance and evaluation.
 

What you’ll Do:

  • Vendor Management:
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the comprehensive vendor management strategy.
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors aligning with the company's requirements.
    • Proactively identify and assess potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
    • Cultivate collaborative relationships with major vendors.
    • Lead quarterly business reviews with vendors.
  • Contract Management:
    • Guide the entire contract lifecycle management process, including negotiation, approval, execution, and renewal.
    • Ensure vendor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as contracted.
    • Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Performance and Evaluation:
    • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and adherence to SLAs or KPIs, contract guidelines, regulations, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols.
    • Support Business Owners by coordinating issue resolution.
    • Provide detailed reports on vendor performance, including non-compliance, and recommend performance improvement strategies.
    • Conduct root cause analysis, determine corrective actions, and enforce financial penalties when necessary.
    • Oversee daily, weekly, and quarterly progress updates.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with various departments, including procurement, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure effective vendor management.
    • Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors to address issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Support internal and external audit requests.
    • Maintain a centralized repository for vendor contracts and relevant documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to vendor relationships.
       

What you’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years progressively responsible experience in either vendor management, contracts management and purchasing with 3 years experience in the Tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of vendor relationship dynamics, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
