What you’ll need:
- An Attorney licensed in Thailand with 5+ years of legal practice in law firms, government agencies, and/or in-house;
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, especially in technology-related areas (e.g., SaaS, platform services, data sharing).
- Good understanding of key legal considerations in privacy, data protection, and digital services, with a willingness to deepen knowledge where needed.
- Business-minded and pragmatic, able to balance legal risk with commercial and product realities.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with product, tech, operations, and business teams.
- Strong communication skills in both Thai and English, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-lawyers.
- Self-driven and intellectually curious, with a proactive approach to learning new areas such as AI regulation, global privacy laws, or platform terms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and international privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, APEC CBPR).
- Exposure to AI-related legal issues, platform compliance (e.g., app stores), or digital platform regulation.
- Background working with or in tech companies, especially in platform, e-commerce, or mobile services.
- Knowledge of related legal areas such as intellectual property, licensing, competition law, employment, or litigation would be a plus.
- Comfort with interpreting technical concepts such as encryption, APIs, or data flows (no engineering required — just legal understanding).
- Experience working in cross-border or multicultural environments.
