What you’ll Do:
- Join a team of expert engineers to tackle true full-stack challenges, significantly elevating company development efficiency. Drive projects that span backend and infrastructure enhancements, frontend web development, and CI/CD automation.
- Analyze current software systems and leverage multiple technologies to solve technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems, focusing on velocity, quality, security, and cost.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced system-level performance bottlenecks, including identifying and addressing kernel-level factors that impact CPU and overall system efficiency.
- Lead the entire lifecycle of platform projects designed to improve developer efficiency and core infrastructure, from conceptual design and architecture through to deployment and post-launch support.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and initiative in a fast-paced, agile environment to drive projects forward and deliver results.
- Design and implement robust, scalable distributed systems that are foundational to multiple products and services across the organization.
What you’ll Need:
- Total 5+ years of professional experience in one of these roles: Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps, or SRE.
- Mastery of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing strategies, and modern code review practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deep-dive into core system fundamentals and software implementation to extract maximum performance given available resources.
- Genuine intellectual curiosity about how systems work at every level, instinctively asking "why?" and "how?" from service architecture and application code down to the operating system and hardware-level bit manipulation.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: consensus algorithms, the CAP theorem, eventual consistency, and service mesh architectures.
- Keen eye for inefficient processes and a genuine desire to fix them, improving the quality of life for other engineers.
- Proficiency and hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure).
- Expert-level knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
