What you’ll Do:
- Data Governance Strategy: Work with data professionals to develop and implement a data governance strategy aligned with the organization’s goals. Define governance policies, procedures, and standards that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Data Project Management: Act as a senior coordinator who can translate governance objectives into actionable project steps, support the DPPG team in driving initiatives forward, propose improvements, and help identify and track remediation or improvement efforts across the data landscape.
- Data Quality and Management: Establish and improve processes to ensure the quality and integrity of data. Collaborate with data stewards to ensure proper classification, storage, and stewardship of key datasets. Assist in initiating and tracking data quality or remediation projects where weaknesses are identified.
- Metadata Tracking and Lineage: Track and maintain metadata, source lineage, and data flow mappings to support regulatory and third-party compliance, AI enablement, and internal data transparency. Proactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in metadata and work with technical teams to address them.
- Data Architecture: Support data architects in maintaining a secure and accessible data architecture. Ensure that data integration and storage systems align with governance goals and enable effective data usage. Provide structured input and coordination for technical governance improvements.
- Data Privacy and Compliance: Work closely with the Privacy Team to support compliance with PDPA and other applicable laws. Help implement practices that ensure ethical, lawful, and responsible data handling across the organization.
- AI Enablement and Support: Collaborate with internal AI teams to support responsible data use and model readiness. Assist in data preparation, documentation, and access controls. Align governance practices with AI development needs, including metadata tagging and privacy safeguards, and help manage small-to-medium technical projects supporting AI enablement.
