What You’ll Do:
- Ad Inventory Management: Monitor and manage ad inventory levels to ensure optimal fill rates and balance supply and demand.
- Ad Placement Strategy & Optimization: Analyze and optimize placement performance, making adjustments to maximize visibility and improve results. Lead the analysis and comparison of ad performance against organic performance to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Refine targeting parameters to reach the most relevant audience for each placement
- Ad Pricing Strategy & Optimization: Develop and implement pricing strategies and bid models for ad placement to optimize revenue and client satisfaction.
- Platform Bid Price Management: Develop and adjust platform bid prices to maximize revenue and achieve platform goals (e.g., rely on GMV BAU/Seasonal).
- Demand Maximization: Develop and monitor a comprehensive view of advertisers' demand maximization (e.g., enhance budget recommendation).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and data science teams throughout the marketplace strategy and execution processes. Communicate insights and strategy effectively to internal and external audiences.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Ad Tech, E-commerce, or Marketplace Strategy, with at least 1+ years in an Ad Industry
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand Machine Learning, Personalization, Pricing and Ranking model architecture, data pipelines, and API integrations to converse effectively with Data Scientist Heads.
- Leadership: Strong influence and negotiation skills, capable of driving consensus among senior executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Financial or related fields. MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strategic Thinking and analytical Skills: Essential for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions about pricing and inventory management.Requires strategic thinking to align pricing and inventory strategies with overall business goals. Understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Technical Skills: Data analysis, bid management platforms, and potentially programming or scripting for automation.
- Leadership and Facilitation: Ability to lead and motivate teams, facilitate discussions, and drive alignment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally.
