As a Software Engineer joining the LINE Pay (Thailand) Korea office, you will be responsible for the core development of LINE Pay for the Thai market.
- Design and optimize the LINE Pay core, using Java, Spring, and various distributed systems, to support fast and secure transactions.
- Develop payment features tailored to the needs of Thai users and businesses.
- Design technical solutions to provide innovative services while complying with Thai financial regulations.
- Establish a foundation for stable processing of large transaction volumes through clean code and thorough testing.
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a server developer.
- Believe in the innovative potential of fintech and are self-motivated by resonating with LINE Pay's vision.
- Are passionate about software development and find fulfillment in creating value through code.
- Value teamwork and can contribute to building a better system with colleagues.
- Have excellent adaptability and learning skills in a rapidly changing environment.
- Possess proactive leadership and strong problem-solving skills.
- Have no restrictions for overseas travel.
- Proficient in the Java ecosystem (Java 8 or higher, Spring Framework) and have experience effectively solving complex problems using it.
- Possess deep design knowledge and experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Have a strong understanding of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking).
- Have experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Are familiar with writing unit tests and integration tests.
You will play a leading role in solving the problems of the Thai fintech market and realizing the vision of LINE Pay. Here, your code will change the financial future of Thailand.

- Experience in the finance/fintech domain or experience in developing payment/settlement systems and knowledge of security.
- English communication skills (oral and written).

- Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, HBase, Elasticsearch, etc.).
