What you’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a robust risk management strategy aligned with the company's objectives and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks associated with payment operations. Monitor key risk indicators and implement proactive measures to mitigate identified risks
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure compliance with the Thai financial sector's relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT to integrate risk management practices into business processes and decision-making
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on risk management best practices, compliance requirements, and internal control procedures
- Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively respond to and mitigate the impact of security breaches, operational disruptions, or other critical incidents
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on risk exposure, control effectiveness, compliance status, and emerging risk trends
What you’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM, CIA) is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, or compliance within the financial services industry, with specific experience in the payment and/or insurance sector preferred
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices in the Thai financial sector
- Strong understanding of risk management processes risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation. Facilitation of risk assessment workshops
- Experience in developing risk management governance structures and ensuring compliance across organizations' diverse environment
- Experience in engaging and managing a variety of stakeholders with an ability to consult and develop remediation options, risk mitigation solutions
- Understanding of reporting requirements
- Practical experience and understanding of technology and business processes in providing related risk assurance and advisory considerations
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication both Thai and English and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
