What you’ll Do:

- Stay informed about current events, industry trends, and emerging issues to identify relevant topics and angles for news coverage.
- Cultivate relationships with sources, experts, and industry insiders to secure exclusive interviews, insights, and information for news stories.
- Edit, fact-check, and proofread articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and design, to optimize content distribution and audience engagement.
- Monitor and analyze audience feedback, metrics, and trends to inform editorial decision-making and content strategies
What you’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
- Proven experience 5 years in journalism, with a strong track record of writing, editing, and producing news content.
- Deep understanding of journalistic principles, practices, and ethics, with a commitment to upholding integrity and objectivity.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of published articles or news stories.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing journalists.
